Mmh… I wonder if he’ll be okay at this hour. Normally it takes 3 calls for him to wake up.
Hey Gottfrid, you there?
Hey Anita, how are you doing?
I’m fine, if you don’t mind I’ll be rolling again on the spot from last week.
Watch out for speedsters then, there’s someone with TrickRides like you on the south zone.
Let me guess: he is using snowboard glasses?
You know him?
Well that’s a yes. Thanks for the information. I’ll be going then.
Wait a minute.
What is it?
Here’s the 5 kr I’ve put on our bet, it seems the place my friend was going to work at decided to not take him on the last day.
Appreciated, but if you have the money for betting with me then you have enough to pay him a dinner when he stops having enough for food. Wish him luck in my place next time you see him.
Thanks, he’ll appreciate it.
… South zone uh? I’m starting to bet that he asked Gottfrid where I normally roll around here…
So you actually came to see the scrapyard. Like what you see?
Oh hello Anita. It’s surprisingly okay, there is so much garbage that I had to go slower to make sure no rocks would cross my feet in the blink of an eye.
Yeah, it’s annoying but it’s fun when you design your own course, I’m going to my own course. If you really need to test just watch me, I won’t accept being part of your team either way.
Perfect, didn’t knew I’d be making progress on that today.
Don’t lie to me, most just want to stay out of here. I’ve come here so many times that I know all the staff, only them come to the zones with some reason.
You said it was good for training, it’s the best I have to do since I’m not with the team right now.
What’s that team anyway? Eleonor said it was from some league.
The Blade Riders Professional League? It’s where you compete with TrickRides. Considering you use TrickRides I’m surprised you didn’t knew about it.
This is just a hobby, it’s fun but not really above that.
Basically teams in this league have riders for each category: Speed Race, Obstacle Race, Endurance Race and Goal Race.
Let me guess, you are from the Speed category, right?
Precisely. Since our country doesn’t have a big culture for TrickRides it’s been hard to find new people to join for smaller tournaments. We have the big players of course but currently we are running out of new people, I for example started 3 years ago.
You know how it goes, if there isn’t a hole in the market don’t try to fit in such a market.
I’d argue there is one right now.
Really? You just said that we don’t have a big culture for that.
Maybe, but if we get a symbol for it then we could probably bring more people for it.
That’s creating a place to fit, not fitting in naturally. Don’t go overboard if you know it’s too risky. There is also the cost, just for me to buy new wheels it’s a pain, I can only imagine the cost for a team like that.
“We will do it until we can’t.” That is how our Boss says it.
We will do it until we shouldn’t, that’d be better. More importantly, this dumb-made course can and shall be used. Wanna give it a shot?
Sure, where’s the end goal?
So you start here where I stand, than you just go through the road until it has only obstacles, thankfully you can jump from some of them so you won’t lose that much speed, than you have to enter the broken building and climb it to the platform inside it.
Wait the insides of the building don’t have floors?
Surprisingly no, you’d think that the floor would be there but not really.
What’s your record for it?
I don’t have one, just go for it and let me see what you are made of.
Mmh. Wasn’t me that was supposed to test you?
Too bad, in my territory my rules rule. For the sake of knowing how you are doing we’ll be on call through @aothot devices as well. Connect yourself to the call room.
On it!
NOW! Get Set!
